Solid Waste

Residential Curbside Collection is assessed through property taxes to each property and is provided by Orange County Solid Waste. Please contact Orange County directly regarding questions about residential collection.

Garbage/Recycling – Pickup Day TUESDAY
Orange County provides rolling carts for each household for garbage and recycling. Carts can be set out after 6p Monday evening, and should be returned to storage after 6p Tuesday evening. Rolling carts should not be visible from the street any other time. If the Tuesday pickup is missed by the waste hauler, leave carts at the curb until the next day.

Yard Waste/Large Items – Pickup Day WEDNESDAY
Yard waste and large items that do not fit in the rolling carts can be left at the curb for pickup. Please see the website below for bundling and waste that will be picked up – the county has restrictions on what will be accepted and how it must be bundled/prepared. Yard waste/Large Items can be set at the curb after 6p Tuesday evening. Waste should not be at the curb or visible from the street any other time. If the waste is not accepted by the hauler, the homeowner must remove by 6p Wednesday evening and make alternate arrangements for disposal.
